Counterpoint

Counterpoint is a game about making music using the power of chain reactions. Solve 5 puzzles in a row, and you'll see each of your creations strung together to make a chill synthwave beat.

The goal of the game is to match a musical pattern by placing nodes on a grid. A central node will send out an energy pulse at the start of each cycle, and any nodes that are hit by this pulse will play a music note before sending out a pulse of their own. 

In each level, you will be given a musical phrase to copy. Your goal is to link the nodes together so that they play this sequence. Each stage consists of 5 levels (and 5 phrases). When you complete a stage, all of the melodies from that stage will play together, creating a short song.

Winner of the TAGD (Texas Aggie Game Developers) Fall 2019 Game Jam. The theme was:  "Chain Reaction".
